The battery

A summer to late autumn mark that offers cod / wrasse / coalfish / pollack / mackerel and mini species. A rocky mark that requires rotten bottoms  if you want to keep most of your rigs. I find that distance casters do best here as there is a good holding ground about 150 yards out. Float fishing in and around the rocky gullies for wrasse / coalfish / small pollack and mini species is entertaining but for cod and mackerel on most days you have to get it out to them.
