| I have been asked about this beach on a few occasions now and in all truth unless there has been an easterly storm in the winter then really Dunbar has better to offer elsewhere. This beach will produce decent cod in the above said conditions to about eight pound plus so not to be sniffed at if the weather is right. If you must fish here then at a push if you hit the sand bar that runs out to sea on the south side you may get a flounder or two. The rest of the ground is rocky with a lot of kelp around so redcod and wrasse could figure. |
