| A popular mark for its easy access to deep water. I have had a few fish here (nothing to sing about) and witnessed many catches of codling and large numbers of small coalfish. Rockling / wrasse /conger / dabs and mini species also feature in catches. Conger tend to be caught in summer nights by anglers who target them. Some of the mini species here are to say the least "specimens" in there own right. For fishing on the bridge a beach-caster and the usual tackle / rigs that go with it are perfect as on most occasions the further you get the better your chances.
Distance isn't always a factor as coalfish / conger and mini species are more often than not caught when dropping a line over the side. The rocks at the side offer summer wrasse to float fished rag.
The bridge over the deep water offers easy access for disabled anglers. |
