This is Niffy an old school chum of mine.

| Sunday august 20th
We went to the outflow at Torness power station. The sea had a few breakers hitting the ledge which made the chance of getting a mullet pretty slim. I threw some bread in anyway on the off chance. To the right is a pic of me watching the bread for a take. |

Nothing on the bread but I spotted a few bass jumping out the water about 100 yards out. I tied on a black Delta eel(left) with a 10 foot trace to be trawled behind a Drennen controller float. |

First cast after seeing the fish and I'm in. It feels like a good fish but there is a bit of lift in the sea and I'm having to contend with the bombardment of giant spinners the "experts" are throwing across my line. To there credit I did witness one of them getting a small bass. |

| Well that's about it for now the trip didn't end there but the other photos aren't developed yet. Oh by the way the bass was returned unharmed. | If you would like to see what Niffy thought about his trip then click HERE to find out. |
| Check out Sunny Dunny for yourself . A site which offers info on the area and has a comical side aswell.
